SYNOPSIS

"The Werewolf Syndrome"

By

Richard Paul Haesche

According to the common belief about werewolves, one becomes a werewolf after having been bitten by another werewolf. Later, the monthly full moon cycle brings on the cyclical metamorphosis from human to wolf form, thereby producing a "wolf" man or "werewolf." This "creature" then skulks through the night preying on, biting and infesting other humans thereby transmitting that lycanthropic disease or syndrome. That is the legend.

BUT, what about GENETICS? Supposing a husband and wife had been attacked and the wife was bitten by a werewolf at a time when she was pregnant? What effect would it have upon the living fetus lying dormant in her womb? And what about immunity? Is it a fact that everyone is vulnerable to the werewolf bite? Is there no-one who might be immune? And, if so, what special characteristics would that human possess?

Read this exciting and suspenseful story and discover how one teen-aged boy faced the biggest challenge of his life when he was chased by and bitten by a werewolf in the story,"The Werewolf Syndrome."
